PKI Security and Enablement

Bring value to both sides of the security/performance equation.

Over the past decade, Public Key Infrastructures (PKIs) have increasingly become more commonplace within many government and commercial enterprises, and for good reason. PKI security uses x.509 certification and revocation of authenticated digital certificates, making it a stronger, more enforceable solution than traditional username/password models. Many large-scale web applications, however, struggle to find PKI solutions that provide secure access without negatively impacting system performance and user availability.

Partnet’s PKI solutions are specifically designed to accommodate the high-performance requirements of large-scale systems. Unlike traditional COTS products, Partnet offers a flexible, server-side solution that mounts easily within clustered, load-balanced architectures. Combining internal Certificate Revocation List (CRL) caching with real-time Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) responses, Partnet offers a blended approach that provides optimized performance and networking without compromising the security of the PKI-enabled framework.

Partnet’s PKI solutions are highly configurable to meet the system demands of any operating environment, and can be easily scaled using JITC-approved client-side plugins.

eValidate

Partnet eValidate enables PKI security within the DOD EMALL.

Partnet eValidate is specifically designed to accommodate the high-performance requirements of large-scale systems. Unlike traditional COTS products, eValidate offers a flexible, server-side solution that mounts easily within clustered, load-balanced architectures. Combining internal Certificate Revocation List (CRL) caching with real-time Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) responses, eValidate achieves optimized performance and networking without compromising the security of the PKI-enabled framework.

eValidate is highly configurable to meet the system demands of any operating environment, and can be easily scaled using JITC-approved client-side plugins. eValidate is currently deployed within the DOD EMALL to authenticate the Department of Defense Common Access Card (DOD CAC) and cross-signed digital certificates from the US Federal PKI Certification Authority.
