Partnet Releases ePort™ v7.1

April 5, 2010

Today, Partnet announced the release of ePort version 7.1 — providing enhanced user-management, security, and configuration capabilities.

Partnet ePort™ is a powerful integration and messaging tool providing secure, real-time connections between government enterprises and their commercial business partners. ePort v7.1's more robust application framework offers improved user management and security features, including streamlined configuration tools for supply chain administrators and logisticians to manage their business-partner connections.

"We are very excited about the latest release of ePort," said Partnet CEO, Don Brown, Ph.D. "[ePort v7.1] will give administrators more power and control . . . and save them time by automating key processes."

Originally developed in 1997, ePort currently integrates supplier databases into DOD EMALL's virtual catalog — containing over 65 million commercial and DOD-managed items. ePort improves supply chain performance by enabling secure channels for data transfer across multiple communication protocols, including ebXML, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP, SMTP, AS2, and AS3.
